French classes are offered in 7-week sessions, at all levels, meeting either once or twice a week, daytime or evenings. Tuition is $195 for once a week classes, $290 for twice a week classes for the 7-week session. The next seven-week session will begin the week of June 9, skipping the week of July 4.
French Classes Even if you are just starting French with us, or if you have a limited background, you can progress with confidence. If your French is at a higher level, enhance your learning with a wide choice of advanced and specialty courses, from Business French to cultural topics. Classes meet mornings or evenings, once or twice a week. Beginner Level 1 Even as a total beginner, you’ll begin speaking French from day one with the innovative communicative approach. Beginner Levels 2 and 3 You may have studied French in the past. With a little help from your teacher, your skills will develop. Intermediate Levels 1 through 3 You may have acquired a survival level and had some opportunity to use your French. Now you’re ready to immerse yourself a bit further and acquire a good working knowledge of the language. Advanced Levels 1 through 3 You have a good working knowledge of French, and now want to work on expanding your knowledge and abilities. Conversation and Specialty Classes: Vous parlez français? L’art et la littérature vous intéressent?...Ou peut–être le français d’affaires? Vous désirez continuer à affiner votre niveau de langue orale et écrite. Children’s Classes: Our children’s program immerses children ages 4-15 in the French language, allowing them to learn in a natural way, through visual, kinetic and auditive experience. Summer classes meet in three-week sessions Monday-Thursday mornings 9:30 till noon. Tuition is $350 for the 3 session.) Sessions for children begin June 9 and July 7. Private Lessons: For those who prefer to work one-on-one with a teacher, or whose schedule requires more flexibility. These classes may be customized to fit your specific needs. $45 per hour. French at Your Desk: For individuals in the business community who prefer instruction at their office, and companies considering an on-site language training course. $50 per hour, with discounts for longer contracts and more students.
Members and seniors receive a $10 discount per session. There is also a $10 discount for early registration (next early registration deadline is March 27 for the April session). Please register by the first day of class, or there will be a $25 late registration charge. (this does not apply to new students who join a session in progress at their level.) There is a one-time registration fee of $25 for new students ($15 for children.)
